manny diaz
Pronouns: he/him/his
Team Coordinator
Manny is the creative genius who keeps us all on track. His work literally makes the work of Disabled Duo possible. Manny has a personal experience of temporary disability after a car accident, surgery, a year on crutches, and a second surgery. Kate and Aaron met Manny while he was working in a PT clinic where Kate was receiving regular care. Manny quickly earned Kate’s deep respect and undying gratitude for noticing Kate’s extreme sensitivity to heat and choosing to wait for Kate with ice packs on a regular basis without seeking even a word of gratitude. Manny’s selfless nurturing of Kate and all he encounters, made him a natural member of the Disabled Duo Team and Chosen Family.
